About Lindsey

I have studied various complementary therapies, and am continually inspired by the astounding ability of the body to heal itself when listened to and supported naturally, through touch and resources from the natural world. My inspiration is also derived from an innate knowing that there is no division between mind, body and spirit. Emotional and physical health are intimately intertwined as scientific studies are beginning to identify.

Craniosacral therapy found me at 33 years old. I was struggling with an exhausting relationship, which was contributing to draining my already tired nervous and endocrine systems; I was experiencing tiredness almost all of the time, my hips hurt, my hair had started to turn grey. I was experiencing panic attacks, heart palpitations and a radiating ache around her kidneys. My body clearly directing me to look deeper at my way of being, and why it was that way.

Having reached out to an Osteopath, I experienced my first taste of Cranial Osteopathy. While on the treatment couch, he would cradle me head and place hands at various points under my spine. Leaving those treatments, I felt revived, open, alive, physically relaxed and the calmest I’d possibly ever been. It was then I realised how held and tense I actually was, all of the time.

Over the period of my cranial treatments my hip pain resolved, and the functioning of my nervous and endocrine systems improved as stress levels reduced; facilitating a profound and lasting change in my physical body and emotional wellbeing. It also contributed to increased self-confidence and resolve to move on with my life.

Put simply, I love craniosacral therapy, it is my passion. I have regular treatments for general health maintenance and take part in continuing professional development to deepen and improve my knowledge and skills.  As well as being a registered Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner, I also practise Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Bach Flower Remedies, and teach meditation.

Before moving to Kent I volunteered at Human Rights Charity, the Helen Bamber Foundation, supporting survivors of trafficking and torture with CST for chronic fatigue, Fibro Myalgia and PTSD. I am a registered member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the United Kingdom.

My qualifications / trainings include:

  • Diploma in Craniosacral Therapy (College of Craniosacral Therapy)

  • Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology (ITEC Level 3)

  • Aromatherapy (Diploma)

  • Bach Flower Remedies (Ainsworths level 1 and 2; Luna Advanced Bach Flower Remedies)
